Letter from Kate

As an academic advisor I have assisted hundreds of students as they worked to complete their educations. Many have faced, and found the strength to overcame, great difficulties. Each student possesses unique talents and abilities and I personally believe that every student accepted by USF has what it takes to succeed. The advisors in the Office of Engineering Student Services strive to create an environment where each student is given the utmost respect. It is our objective to maintain an atmosphere that allows an individual to express concerns freely, in confidence and without fear of reprisal.

On a personal note, I am an alumnae of USF as is my daughter. My son is a current student. USF is very much a part of our family!

You should schedule an appointment to see me if:

You would like to discuss your goals, objectives or other matters.
You have a suggestion that would improve student advising or student relations in the College.
You do not feel that the College has adequately addressed your advising needs or feel your rights have been violated.

Please feel free to contact me at any time with your questions and comments. Remember, you are encouraged to make an appointment to see an Engineering Advisor at least once each semester. This affords us an opportunity to provide you with information about services and programs designed to enhance your academic experience. In addition, we very much welcome the opportunity to get to know you better. We are here to serve you and to advocate for you and for your academic success.
