Francisco Blanquicet wins the 2008 Ethernet Alliance
White Paper Challenge


 

Mr. Francisco Blanquicet, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, has won the 2008 Ethernet Alliance White Paper Challenge. The title of the paper was PAUSE Power Cycle: A New Backwards Compatible Method to Reduce Energy Use of Ethernet Switches. The award was $6000 and it was presented at INTEROP in Las Vegas on April 29, 2008. Dr. Ken Christensen Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is his adviser.
