In an effort to magnify and enhance relations with the University of South Florida, Chromalloy Castings has teamed up with USF's mechanical engineering department in hopes of solving one of the facility's most notorious material handling issues.

Motek Medical installed a CAREN Extended in Florida, USA, at the Center for Assistive, Rehabilitation & Robotics Technologies (CARRT) at University of South Florida. The installation was finalized in October 2013 and a team of researchers are currently being trained for operational use.
