ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
Margarita N. Dominguez (BSEE '75) was named one of the Top Hispanic Women in Information Technology by Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology Magazine.
After graduating from USF, she joined Tampa Electric as an associate engineer. She went on to hold management positions at the company, including director of environmental services for Energy Supply and director of sales for Energy Services. She also served as a procurement officer and chief Information officer of TECO Energy, Inc. In February 2001, she was named vice president of Information Technology and Telecom Services before retiring in 2006.
Deidra Hodges '09 PhD, an assistant professor of electrical engineering in the Southern Polytechnic State University School of Engineering, has been named 2012 Teacher of the Year. Read full story.
