USF and the College of Engineering recognize support through the USF
President's Council, a gift society reserved for alumni and friends who have
distinguished themselves through their contributions to the University of South
Florida. The President's Council recognizes its members for their generosity
and provides them with opportunities to develop a closer relationship with USF
and the College of Engineering.
Recognition Societies
Members of the USF President's Council are working together to strengthen the
future of the University of South Florida. They can participate in one or both
of the following societies.
-
The University Society
The University Society represents individuals and organizations as leadership
donors of annual giving to USF. Annual giving is vital in our effort to provide
students and faculty with the best resources available in higher education.
Membership in the University Society requires a minimum gift of $1,000, which
may be made to any of USF's colleges, academic units, or scholarship funds.
Gifts may be split between two or more areas. For a complete list of College of
Engineering funds, contact Edward M. Kominowski (813-974-9896 or email at
ekominow@eng.usf.edu). Corporate matching gifts also count toward the total
contribution.
-
The John Allen Society
The John Allen Society, named in honor of USF's first President, includes
alumni and friends of the university who have contributed more than $100,000
cumulatively. John Allen Society members may also be recognized as University
Society members if they continue to give $1,000 gifts on an annual basis.
Benefits of Membership
In appreciation of their philanthropic leadership, President's Council members
receive advance information about special events and activities. In addition,
they receive a membership card, complimentary parking on all four USF campuses,
library borrowing privileges, and quarterly publications. Each year, University
Society and John Allen Society members may be invited to society recognition
events held in their honor.
