Since 1983, the Academic & Professional Engineering Excellence (APEX) has been providing access to graduate and undergraduate level engineering courses, certificates and review seminars. Corporate sites, university centers and the web are just a few of the venues that APEX can accommodate. APEX provides a new kind of university experience for engineers while preserving traditional requirements, rigor and academic excellence. Students registered in APEX courses must meet the same academic standards to earn the same credit as those who attend on campus. Over 1,000 graduate and undergraduate engineering degrees have been granted from the college’s academic departments through APEX distribution.

It is imperative for today’s engineers to maintain and enhance their professional excellence. By offering short courses, certificate programs and review sessions, APEX will embark on groundbreaking efforts to provide a number of special topics to prepare the professional engineer for meeting the demands of the 21st century.
