The College of Engineering degree programs at the University of South Florida are accredited by the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Sponsored research activity in the College of Engineering exceeded $22 million in awards in the most recent fiscal year. This has been fueled by the development of nationally recognized centers in areas such as Urban Transportation, Microelectronics and Clean Energy. Research activities in areas as diverse as Bio-molecular Delivery Systems, Nano-Technology and Nano-Materials, Robotics, Hydroloic and Aquatic Systems, Wireless and Microwave Technologies, Software Testing and Rehabilitation Energy and others are also major contributors in our emergence as a major player on the national research scene.
